"Heir To the Empire, EVIL HEIR" Tour I.
12 missions.
For IBM.
The First Tour in a 3 part series.
Team Programmed by Owen McCabe, and Jeremy Lee.
Installation:
It's all very simple. Just copy the EMPIRE.ZIP file to the XWING
MAIN directory. Not the Xwing\Mission sub-directory, just the XWING di-
rectory. Next, PKUNZIP EMPIRE.ZIP in the XWING directory and then run
EMPIRE.BAT to auto-install this TOD to your Xwing game.
(Note that both EMPIRE.BAT and TOD1REST.BAT will be located in the MAIN
XWING directory.)
EMPIRE.BAT makes back up copies of ALL the files this TOD will
replace, then installs the EVIL HEIR TOD to Tour of Duty 1 of your
Xwing game.
The back up files of the original missions will be located in the
Xwing\Mission sub-directory. They will have the file extenstions of .ORF
and .OWI
The back up files of the original green and yellow scrolling texts
will be located in the Xwing\Resource sub-directory. They will have the
file extensions of .ERI
Finally, a back up of FLIGHT.OVL, called FLIGHT.ORI will be found
in the main XWING directory.
If you ever wish to restore Xwing to the way it was BEFORE you
installed EVIL HEIR to TOD 1, just run TOD1REST.BAT.
TOD1REST.BAT restores Your Xwing game from the back up files made
durring installation, then deletes them. So don't freak out if you can't
find the back-up files after you've run TOD1REST.BAT
If for whatever reason you wish to re-install EVIL HEIR after
restoring your Xwing game to its originality, just refer back to the
begining of this document.
